Snowed In News

I am so, SO excited to be coming at you with some super exciting news for Snowed In – my holiday(ish) contemporary romance.

If you’re not familiar with it, the tropes are: small town, friends-to-lovers, rom-com, holiday, fame, and sports. While most of this book has a fair amount of LOL moments, it should be noted that there are some heavier themes. The MMC has been diagnosed with a TBI from his years of playing football, and also has depression and anxiety, which is a big part of the overall plot. That said, it is a romance, so it does end in an HEA for Ben and Ella.

Okay, now on to the news!

First up. The new cover is STUNNING. I am obsessed with it. Bookish Averil is beyond talented, and I was so thrilled to work with her again.

It’s also been slightly revised and has a completely new interior format. Right now, the new version is available on Amazon, and the paperback version should be available on all other retail sites very soon!

Brilliance Audio has picked it up, and you can preorder it from the Amazon link above. The narrators are Sophie Daniels and Matt Mercurio. Release date: November 4th – just in time for some cozy holiday listening!

I don’t talk about my backlog much, but I should, because this book holds such a special place in my heart. I wrote it while I was grieving the passing of my grandmother, after she lost her decades-long battle with Alzheimer’s. What Ben endures is similar, but I was able to give him a cure my grandmother never had, and hope for a happily-ever-after, even with his disease. It’s also set in Maine, where I was born, and I put a lot of my childhood years growing up there into this as well.
